Lumina Arts Alliance

At Lumina Arts Alliance CIC, creativity isn’t a luxury, it’s a lifeline. Founded in Northamptonshire, we started with a simple belief: that everyone, regardless of background, deserves the chance to create, express, and belong. What began as a handful of local workshops has grown into a thriving creative hub serving hundreds of people across the region.

Over the past year alone, we’ve:

  • Delivered 115+ workshops in photography, digital art, music production, and mixed media. dj-ing, Interior design and creative make up.

  • Partnered with many organisations including Shaw Trust, Northampton Saints Foundation, and The Lowdown.

  • Reached 500+ participants, with some of them young people who had never engaged in the arts before.

We believe creativity is not just an art form, it’s a catalyst for empowerment, belonging, and personal transformation. From community halls to professional galleries, we create spaces where individuals can explore their potential, connect with others, and leave feeling stronger than when they arrived.

Our work bridges inclusion, empowerment, and wellbeing with professionalism and high-quality delivery. Every facilitator is an actively practicing artist, bringing real-world experience into every session. And because accessibility matters, we remove barriers through free or low-cost programmes, travel bursaries, and adaptive learning approaches.

We are not just an arts organisation. We are a vehicle for social impact, healing, and expression. Every workshop, exhibition, and interaction is built to uplift and ignite change.

Artistic Expression and Freedom

At Lumina Arts Alliance CIC, we champion freedom of artistic expression as a core value. We believe in the transformative power of creativity to provoke thought, express emotion, challenge injustice, and tell powerful stories.

We support a wide range of artistic styles, voices, and perspectives, provided they align with the following values:

  • Work must not incite hate, perpetuate harmful stereotypes, or cause deliberate harm to any group or individual.

  • We encourage bold and thought-provoking work, but within the context of respectful community engagement and responsibility.

  • Artistic expression should aim to foster dialogue, connection, healing, or deeper understanding.

  • Where projects engage with sensitive content (e.g. trauma, politics, identity), we will offer content warnings, support materials, and audience guidance as needed.

We do not believe in censorship, but we do believe in context, clarity, and care. Our platform exists to elevate creativity that uplifts and connects communities, not isolates or excludes them.
